In light of Part 1, I ask you now… what does yoga mean for you? It is different for everyone, and I used my own experience as an example to shed light on how it started, and how it evolved with my life. This forms the core of just why you want to create a daily (or regular) practice.
In today’s Part 2, I detail my experience in starting and then maintaining a practice. And the revelations that came with it.
The Fire
I saw my new intention of a daily yoga practice as fire. Fire, that alights to burn through the debris and the old, to make way for the growth and the new. It was the middle of summer when I set this intention, and I felt the expansion and joy of fire leading me to my mat every sunny morning.
